Back Pain:
After 5 years of increasing lower back pain I had an emergency micro-discectomy operation in 2003. Virtually the whole disc was removed. Although this helped with initial pain relief, after about three months I was again suffering with continual lower back discomfort, sometimes with severe pain. To make life more tolerable I had weekly treatments with numerous health professionals, involving acupuncture, traction and ‘muscle technique treatment’. I was also prescribed a daily dose of B anti-inflammatory tablets. I visited my surgeon again and a fusion operation was suggested.
So many people had offered their opinions that I was sceptical at first but Andrew Green’s ideas and interest in my case history persuaded me to allow him the chance at making some real and lasting improvement to my condition.
Progress was immediate and continuous. Within a couple of months of receiving treatment, combined with muscle strengthening exercises I felt considerably more comfortable. I have now reached the stage where I have a monthly treatment from Andy and I am at the next stage of set exercises. So for the first time in a very long while I can confidently use the words “I am pain free!”.

The care I have received has been faultless at all times. I like the hands-on approach which makes you realize that things are being corrected. Although the benefits have not been immediate, which I was told to expect, I feel a whole lot better than if I had not received any chiropractic care. I feel Andy has been open and honest with me, I have learned more about how my body works and also that “ice is my friend!”.
Thank you to Andy and Heidi for their hard work.

Thank heavens for Andy Green!
As a practitioner of the Israeli fighting system called Krav Maga, I’ve been unfortunate enough to be impaired by a number of injuries including a dislocation of my left shoulder and suffering a spinal injury that had a detrimental effect on the muscles and nerves around my right shoulder.
Andy has demonstrated an incredible ability to speedily locate the centre of pain and discomfort and apply the most appropriate treatment to heal my injuries. It has always been imperative for me to fully recuperate and return to my Krav Maga classes as quickly as possible and Andy has always facilitated this.
I cannot recommend this guy highly enough. You may have ignored the pain caused by a sports related injury and carried on with your sport without treatment and now find yourself with a chronic impairment but there is never any need to suffer in silence or trust to luck that the problem will heal itself. Consult Andy, and if my experiences of his exceptional treatment are anything to go by, you’ll be returned to a fully active and pain free sporting life with the minimum of delay.

I first came to see Andy nearly two years ago, having suffered with back problems for three years of my rowing career. Prior to this point, I had used physiotherapy as a treatment for any injuries. Yet, the same injuries would recur year on year and often take months and numerous treatments to settle down. From my first chiropractic session, I was impressed with Andy’s explanation of interlinked nature of injury and how discomfort in one area would impact on another. I have found his sessions to have a rapid desired effect and follow up appointments are given where necessary, as opposed to standard procedure. Certainly from a financial point of view, as a full time athlete, this is a welcome discovery. As I have progressed further toward an elite status training has placed increasing demands on my body. I feel that Andy helps me not only in treating an existing injury, but also in ensuring that any ‘niggles’ are not allowed to progress to the injury stage. This has meant that I have lost less training/competition time due to injury and this is the most important thing to any athlete.

Headaches:
'I have had severe migraine every 4 weeks for almost 16 years.
First I get an aura, in my case half the vision in my right eye disappears for 20 mins. Then my right side goes weak from head to toe and I get pins and needles and numbness in my tongue, lips and nose. That's just the start! Next I have to stop whatever I'm doing and rush home as fast as possible because I know once the headache starts I will not be able to drive, walk or do anything other than lie down. The headache is right sided and feels like a bolt in my temple which is relieved by pressure. 3 prescription only drugs manage to dull the pain enough for me to survive.
This USED to last for THREE DAYS.
As you can imagine disabling and disruptive to both work and family life, not to say sodding miserable.
My GP sent me to neurologists, psychiatrists and on quite a few goose chases too (!)
THEN I met Andrew. My neck was like concrete, but guess what? A few painless clicks and crunches later, the normal feeling in my right side came back with a whoosh (I had got used to being a bit numb all the time), I now feel equal on both sides although my right calf is still thinner than the left, AND best of all if I see Andrew for top up treatment every 4 weeks I DON'T GET MIGRAINE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know it's due to Andy's treatment because if I get cocky and miss one, I get a migraine, although now they only last 1 day instead of 3!
I do not exaggerate to say I have my life back. If I think about the pain both I and my family of two little girls(now aged 15 and 11) who grew up experiencing the regular absence of their mother into a darkened room for 3 days, I feel very emotional and angry for any other poor migraine sufferers out there. So I spread the word!'
With HUGE thanks Andy,
Mrs G (Caversham)
(Note: This patient’s migraine symptoms were predominantly caused by loss of function in the neck. As this was restored it relieved the trigger for the migraine headaches) Andrew Green.
I had suffered with jaw problems for 10 years, symptoms of which included headaches, ‘toothache’, and earache, neck and face pain. Eventually it was suggested to me that I see a chiropractor. I went to see Andy, and after an initial consultation he agreed to treat me. I felt I had also found someone who actually believed my symptoms were real. Even after my first treatment I could feel the difference. Now several weeks down the line no longer have any of these symptoms. If only I hadn’t waited so long, I could have bee pain free a long time ago.

Shoulder Pain:
My shoulder had been giving me pain for a long time. Trying to put on a bra in the morning or my coat was both very painful and difficult. I went to see Andrew Green and he treated my shoulder with a special technique for frozen shoulders. The treatments were a little uncomfortable but I could feel some improvement in mobility almost straight away. I have now received about 6 sessions and the shoulder is completely free and painless to do anything. I still cannot believe how much it has improved so quickly.
Mrs K (Caversham)
I had been having problems with my neck and shoulder for some time - stiffness, restricted movement and continuous pain, sometimes so severe that it kept me awake at night. I decided to consult a chiropractor as a better alternative to the pain killers I had been taking.
Frozen shoulder was diagnosed, which was depressing news as I knew this could take up to 30 months to recover. Andrew decided to use a new treatment which was proving successful with other sufferers of frozen shoulder. The treatment takes half an hour and so far I have had 4, one each week - the results are amazing! After only one treatment my arm and shoulder movements were less restricted and less painful. Each treatment resulted in a dramatic improvement and now, after only 4 treatments, almost all of my original movement span has returned, there is very little pain - sometimes none at all, and I can sleep through the night.
